In this last decade we have experienced major shifts in the workforce and in society. The skills needed to succeed in the workplace are shifting, with some careers becoming obsolete, and others experiencing declining pay rates. As educators, we are beginning to identify that these careers are not viable options for our students’ futures. We continue to read news about all the ways in which new technologies will change society, the workplace and even our bodies. We also hear news about increasingly complex problems to solve, like mass migrations, conflicts and the need for soft skills. What does this new world require of educators and the technologists who support them, so all students are ready to be productive local and global citizens? Join us to discuss the fascinating topic of digital curriculum and content: How should we design and develop the new learning environment, so all students graduate college, career and life-ready?
